The new Base app (the rebrand and rebuild of Coinbase Wallet) stops being “just a wallet” and turns into a web3-native superapp. You can post to a Farcaster-powered feed, earn directly from engagement (each post can be a coin via Zora), trade millions of tokens in a few taps, DM or group-chat over XMTP, and send USDC with tap-to-pay. The full thing ties to a portable Base Account for sign-in and to Base Pay for one-click USDC checkout on Shopify and elsewhere. It’s combining social, apps, money, and identity in one place.
